Beading Ideas - 5 Cool Christmas Designs: Convenient, Nice Looking And Appealing

Christmas is the season of joy, and if you're a fan of beading and bead craft, then you can utilize your passion for the hobby to fuel an entire new look for your house this holiday season with a collection of free beading ideas! If you're looking for fun Christmas beading ideas to add to the festive look to your home this Dec 25, then keep reading and we'll outline 5 Christmas projects you can try!

1 - Candy Canes - Simple and attractive as beading ideas go, you do not need much in the way of supplies to make these, and the designs are kid-friendly to boot! The excellent news is that with even a modest stock of supplies, you've probably got everything you require to make several of these with supplies on hand, and they make excellent decorations for your Christmas tree!

2 - Christmas Trees - Little miniature trees can be made fast and easily, with or without "decorations" (you could use multi-colored glass beads sewn around the tree design in different places for a gorgeous effect!). Another child-friendly design that comes together fairly quickly!

3 - Wreaths - Just like the tree design, above, but a little more complex, and as such, possibly not as "kid friendly" (because they take slightly longer to execute and see the results of your efforts, smaller children might get frustrated before they are finished). Still, it's a fantastic little project that looks gorgeous when completed! Purchase several shades of green seed beads to create shadow and texture in your items, and highlight with red bits of holly.

4 - Angels - A moderately more hard piece (and again, something that child may not have the patience for), the easiest patterns to work with display angels in profile. Purchase different shades of white, silver, and gray to create a dimensional effect in your pieces. These look fantastic on the tree!

5 - Snowflakes - Of all the beading ideas mentioned here, the snowflake pattern is the hardest one to get right. This is certainly not a pattern that small children could help with, as these can get fairly complex. They make among the most lovely and striking decorations on the tree, however, and if you have got the skill level and patience for it, you will be well rewarded for your efforts! Executing one pattern well is (or can be) a somewhat daunting job, but if you're feeling especially adventurous, you can try making each snowflake on your tree unique! It is a tall order, but can certainly be done, just be ready to dedicate quite a lot of time to the task!

As you can see from just the five beading ideas above, there're all kinds of fun holiday beading projects you can sink your teeth into, and this list just barely scratches the surface!
